Video And Photos: The D.A.I.S.Y. Experience – For Dave Aka Plug 2

Pioneers of hip-hop culture gathered together at Webster Hall to celebrate the life and legacy of the late David “Trugoy The Dove” Jolicoeur. Jolicoeur, who co-founded the New York hip-hop trio De La Soul with fellow group members Kelvin “Posdnuos” Mercer and Vincent Lamont “Maseo” Mason Jr, unfortunately, lost his life on February 12, 2023, at 54 years old. The event, called The D.A.I.S.Y. Experience and produced together with Amazon Music, brought out some of the most respected names in Hip Hop including, Queen Latifah, who performed an impromptu version of “Ladies First,” Common, who performed “The Bizness” with De La Soul, Talib Kweli, Chuck D, Dave Chapelle, Black Thought, Q-Tip and more. This event showed us that De La Soul is not dead. De La Soul is forever.
