Video: Madchild ft. Hooper Turnt Sanger – Quarantine

While the whole world is in lockdown during the COVID-19 pandemic, Madchild has stayed on the grind, recording the new Aliby-produced track and dropping a music video for Quarantine, featuring Hooper Turnt Sanger.

I realize that everyone is going a little bit crazy during this quarantine, so it inspired me to write a song poking fun at myself and hopefully it brings a smile to others during this crazy time of uncertainty. We’re all just adjusting to the new normal and musicians have been particularly hit hard as we make our living touring, but I feel like people need music now more than ever, so it was important to me to be creative during this time. I thought long and hard about how I could make a video for this track and still use safe social distancing practices while filming. I ended up shooting this inside my house using a cellphone and I was able to Skype back-and-forth with the director. Anthony La Rose did a phenomenal job adjusting to the situation and it turned out to be a great video.
