Video: Dig Of The Day: The Fat Boys – Jail House Rap (1984)

Back with another post from your favorite Hip-Hop blog, Blackouthiphop.com. First of all, a massive shoutout to my colleagues from the site, you’re doing a super supreme job! ‘Nuff respect.

Second, in a manner of recent unbelieveable events, we’re doing a post in memory of a brother that left us too soon… He was a rapper, songwriter, producer and radio personality, member of a pioneering rap group with Darren Robinson aka The Human Beat Box and Damon Wimbley aka Kool Rock-Ski, originally called Disco 3 then renamed to The Fat Boys, brother Mark Anthony Morales aka Prince Markie Dee.

Jail House Rap was their 3rd single and it appeared on their debut self-titled album Fat Boys, released in 1984 on Sutra Records.

Produced by Kurtis Blow.

RIP Mark Anthony Morales (February 19, 1968 – February 18, 2021).
