Since 2017, the British MC Verbz has been surprising every hip-hop head that’s acquainted with UK’s underground scene. Even somewhat underrated, the Croydon-based fella is getting there, and with every project his unlimited originality is bringing something new on the table. Now, it’s the The Low EP.

The name goes hand in hand with the project, as the smoothness and laid-back vibes with that warm sound compression brings that late 90s and early 00s flavour of jazzy and experimental-ish type of underground hip-hop that brings up the best of mood. Needless to say, the lyrics are swift and on point, emphasizing each and every word, rhyme and punch line with the slow flow of his pretty much recognizable tone of voice.

Sadly, the EP probably will also follow up to its name and go almost on the down low with the audience, but I recommend that everyone should give this one out a chance as it’s hip-hop in its purest form.
Far away from club music, but Verbz shares a lot of knowledge to vibe with and learn from.
