Valid – Places

Just days after announcing his first-ever Eastern European tour set for November 2024, Valid releases a new visual for “Places,” produced by Knowhere2run and Vibin wit DJ Mono. This video pays homage to the Balkans while celebrating Detroit culture. Featuring real home footage of a young Valid in Serbia, it aligns with the story told in this track from his *Peach Brandy* album. In the lyrics, Valid expresses his longing for the Balkans and his hope to visit the region at least one more time in his life. In the second verse, he pens a short love letter to his other home, the city that shaped him—Detroit. The visuals highlight the Detroit lifestyle, showcasing cameos from legends like Awesome Dre and rising stars such as 42 Dugg’s DJ Flexx Bandss. It feels like fate that this visual is released just as Valid announces his Balkan tour next month. Presented by Valternativa Records, Valid and DJ Head will spend November in Eastern Europe, performing alongside Tkač and DJ Alex Mark. Official dates, cities, and venues will be announced soon.
