Valid – Mičigen

Detroit’s heavy-hitter with Serbian roots, Valid, teamed up with a Serbian sports clothing brand “Sportsko Društvo” (Sporting Society). He created an anthem which commemorates the partnering of the brand with an amateur basketball club from Belgrade’s neighborhood of Mirijevo.

With a refreshed look and revitalized brand, the collaboration embraces the local nickname “Mičigen,” a nod to Michigan, inspired by Mirijevo’s gritty, resilient spirit reminiscent of Detroit. Produced by Vuk Starinac, the track captures the essence of two cities that, despite being worlds apart, share a strikingly similiar soul.
