Uptown Records producer Rashad Smith on the “R.O.A.D. Podcast”
In a new episode of the “R.O.A.D. Podcast” (R.O.A.D. stands for Reflections of a DJ), the guest was none other than Rashad Smith. The man who produced for Rakim, LL Cool J, Busta Rhymes, Nas, Biggie, and more, discussed topics such as his early days as a DJ, the art of crate digging, and the origins of the “pause tape.” He also breaks down some of his tracks, such as “Don’t Sweat the Technique,” and Biggie’s “One More Chance.”
