Tribute Beer In Memory Of Phife Dawg

The Los Angeles based beer company Mumford Brewing CO is paying tribute to Phife Dawg from Tribe Called Quest by creating a custom beer. The name of bland is “Buggin’ Out” and it contains alcohol of volume of 5.3%. The beer is an Indian Pale Ale chosen after the popular Northeast IPA’s that was frequently used on the East Coast. According to LA Times the beer “has some tropical and grassy top notes, then finishes dry with a lingering impression of bergamot and jasmine tea. ”
