#throwback Phat Phillie’s J Dilla Blackout Radio Tribute (Feb 11, 2014.)

Had a pleasure of meeting Dilla twice. The year was 2000. at the Key Club in Los Angeles where Slum Vill performed alongside my boys Das EFX, Black Sheep & i think B.E.P. We was hanging out on the tour bus and i was amazed how Dilla was banging the MPC machine on stage like he had turntables. A few years after Baby Dooks & I were working on ASD album for Afrob & Samy Deluxe in Berlin and Dilla was producing a track on the same project. I was super lucky to have witnessed the great Dilla live in the studio working on this song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eHvccEXfacM
