This Marching Band Covers Kanye’s Song “Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 1”
Kanye West’s The Life Of Pablo highlight “Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 1” has been reworked by heavyweights like Hudson Mohawke and Dodger Stadium, but now the track has been given a very unique treatment by Florida A&M University’s marching band. During the 5th Quarter Classic Game between FAMU and Tuskagee University, the band dropped a colossal version of ‘Ye’s soulful hit, blowing everyone away with their epic arrangement.
FAMU’s marching band aren’t the first to take on Kanye; just last month, the Norfolk State University Spartan Legion marching band covered the song during their 2016 Family and Friends day. Last week, Southern University and A&M College’s marching band, The Human Jukebox, performed a huge rework of Drake’s global hit “Controlla.” Check out the incredible cover of “Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 1” above.
