Jay Quan, a Hip-Hop historian, music journalist, and author, shines light on another piece of golden Hip-Hop history. He interviewed William “Billy Bill” Waring, one of Hip-Hop’s first major behind-the-scenes songwriters. He had a part in creating some of the earliest classics from artists such as Run-DMC, The Fat Boys, Lovebug Starski, and Kurtis Blow.
