The Hip Hop Years Documentary

This 1999 documentary mini-series features authentic footage from some of hip hop’s most monumental eras and events. Throughout the three episodes, interviews with the likes of DJ Kool Herc, Afrika Bambaataa, DMC, Ice Cube, Rick Rubin and Ice-T will tell you the stories of Hip Hop’s enormous growth, some of its many controversies, as well as the story of Hip Hop culture’s origin itself.
