The Gamersician – Better With Friends (Album Stream)

Being a hardcore gamer, The Gamersician (hence the name) has always been incorporated his love for video games into hip-hop, and with it, connecting with cats that create music in the same manner. The new studio project, dubbed “Better With Friends” is exactly what it means – teaming up with friends that share the same passion, creating a beautiful ode to classic video games and the nostalgia that comes with it.

Some of the names you can find here are Vibe Mosaic, Dylan Hennessy, and Arkane Beats, but also our boy Amerigo Gazaway that gave his contribution on two tracks – “The Final Lap” and “Too Strong” – which are paying respects to the Mario Kart franchise and Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike. And the music? Yep, it’s a trip to the memory lane to our youth, reliving all the memories that we’ve had playing games from that era with iconic soundtracks based on hip-hop, atmospheric jungle, uplifting drum’n’bass, and techno.
