Ronald Bell, Co-founder of Kool & The Gang, Passed Away

Ronald Bell, one of the founding members of Kool & The Gang, has died at the age of 68. He started the band with his brother Robert “Kool” Bell back in 1964.

Kool & The Gang quickly became one of the era’s most popular and influential soul and funk bands, with hits including Celebration, Ladies’ Night & Get Down On It.

Bell died at his home in the US Virgin Islands. The cause of death was not revealed.
