Rest in peace, Guru of Gang Starr

Yesterday (April 19th) marked 15 years since the passing of a cherished emcee and a true Hip-Hop icon, Gang Starr’s Guru. The renowned lyricist is still “one of the best yet,” and his many classics are still bursting through speakers all over the world, on the daily. To commemorate Guru, we’ve decided to revisit his 2002 freestyle from a Danish radio show, “Det Store Mix,” with DJ Power and DJ Typhoon.
As always, he graced the mic with impeccable rhymes.
