Recap: Fresh Island Festival – Day 3
The third and the last day Fresh Island Festival was non-stop party till the early morning, with Tim Westwood, Big Narstie, Cut Killer, Dj Target, Pusha T, Stormzy, Jme and more. Lots of people, positive energy, sweat, wonderful sound & vibe and beautiful sunrise at the end is an excellent way to finish a festival.
Legendary French Dj – Cut Killer was amazing with his great, great set on Papaya stage.
Pusha T started rocking about half an hour earlier it was planned. His fans were, of course, thrilled too see him. Vibe was great during the whole perfomance. Pusha was nailing it with Nosetalgia, Numbers on the Boards, Future‘s Move That Dope and more. He was also spitting on Chief Keef‘s Don’t Like beat. Oh, yeah, he also rapped his verse from Kanye‘s Runaway. Feedback was excellent, as expected. Towards the end, he kept reminding the crowd that We aint done! after each song. He was rocking (only) about 45min, but it was hell of a concert.
Skepta, unfourtunately, couldn’t make it to Fresh Island. BUT! People were more than happy to see and hear his brother JME on Kalypso stage. Him, great Stormzy and the Noisey crew were keeping the wild crowd on their feet till 6am. They were playing various tracks and all of them were perfect for what the people needed – having a great time.
