Print That Sh*! with Elliott Wilson

In part 1 of our sit down with Elliott Wilson we talk about his intro to the internet. He explains how XXL taught him about the blogger world, and turning to social networking sites to “document the culture”. We then talk about expanding the YN brand. He says that anything that he does expands the YN brand, which inevitably expands the other brands around him (i.e. Rap Radar, RESPECT, etc.). Staying on topic, we discuss the rumor that he will be taking over the morning show on Shade 45.

In Part 2 of our interview with YN, we talk about RESPECT magazine. We discuss topics from how he took over the EIC chair at RESPECT, to his vision for the mag. We briefly talk about why he chose Waka Flocka for the magazines first cover. Finally, we ask him if he approaches his competition with other magazines in the same way that he did while he was EIC at XXL.
