A new mini documentary from Pioneer DJ delves into the origins of Hip Hop and more specifically the roots Hip Hop DJing techniques, from Kool DJ Herc’s legendary 1973 ‘Back to School Jam’ at 1520 Sedgwick Avenue to the technical innovations of Grandmaster Flash and Grandwizard Theodore and beyond. The assembled cast of commentators includes Red Alert, Clark Kent (RIP), DJ Babu and many others who pay tribute to the DJs who influenced them, including DJ Jazzy Jeff, DJ Aladdin and others.
