Outkast and Salt-N-Pepa to be Inducted Into The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame

The list of 2025 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees contains two legendary Hip-Hop acts. Both Outkast and Salt-N-Pepa were chosen to recieve renowned accolades. Outkast are to be inducted in the performer category, and deservedly so, with their tremendous contributions in creating a name for Southern Hip-Hop, and a plethora of classic records. Salt-N-Pepa will recieve the Musical Influence Award. As the first female Hip-Hop act to be certified gold and platinum by the RIAA, for their 1986 album, “Hot, Cool & Vicious,” their significance cannot be overstated.

The induction ceremony is scheduled to take place on November 8th, 2025.
