Oh No – Another Two4
Following in the footsteps of his legendary older brother Madlib, rapper/producer Oh No has become one of the most celebrated independent hip-hop artists of the 21st century. Nearly two decades deep, Oh No‘s impressive career has included releasing early Stones Throw classics, forming the duo Gangrene with Alchemist, composing the original score for the popular video game Grand Theft Auto, and producing for artists like Mos Def, De La Soul, Action Bronson, Talib Kweli, Prodigy, Vinnie Paz, Dilated Peoples, Blu, Danny Brown, and many more. Now, the talented Oxnard artist is announcing Good Vibes, the first of two thematically distinct instrumental projects deconstructing the music of iconic vibraphonist Roy Ayers. Set for a worldwide digital release on February 17th, the collection forms one half of a unique two-part Oh No series, with all samples drawn from the early, jazz-centric realm of the Roy Ayers archive. Now available on all digital outlets, the lead single “Another Two4” is a sonic breath of fresh air, perfectly embodying the vibrant spirit of Good Vibes.
