N.W.A. To Recieve The Lifetime Achievement Award At The 2024 Grammy Awards

The iconic Los Angeles Hip-Hop group, one of the pioneers of the gangsta rap sub-genre, N.W.A. is set to recieve a prestigious accolade in the form of the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2024 Grammy Awards. The award is reserved for groups and individuals who have made creative contributions of outstanding artistic significance to the field of recording.

The world’s most dangerous group will now join the company of Hip-Hop artists who have recieved the distinguished award alongside Run-DMC, Salt ‘N’ Pepa, Public Enemy, Grandmaster Flash & The Furious Five and Slick Rick. The award will be presented on the 3rd of February at the Wilshire Ebell Theatre in Los Angeles.

One of the N.W.A. members, Dr. Dre, was also honored at the 2023 Grammy Awards, as the first recipient of an award named after the great producer himself, the Dr. Dre Global Impact Award.
