Mike Gerbino & Es-K – Day One (Album Stream)

This project is special to me. First and foremost, Mike was one of the first vocalist I ever made music with – around 15 years ago now! Throughout the years, we’ve maintained our friendship and continued to visit each other even though we have lived in different cities our whole lives. This album comes from one of those visits – Mike traveled to VT and spent a long weekend at my apartment. We knew we were going to end up making music but we didn’t realize it would end up being a full project like this. All the songs were made very spontaneously – I would make a beat while he wrote, and then we would record and move on to the next song. By the end of the visit we had this music.
