METALFLOWERZ, VOL. 1 (The Time She Faced DOOM)
“METALFLOWERZ VOL. 1 (The Time She Faced DOOM)” is an instrumental album by Hawaiian artist, METALFLOWERZ. Its 15 tracks are dedicated to a wide array of groups and individuals, including none other than MF GRIMM & MF DOOM, as well as DOOM’s brother, DJ Subroc, who unfortunately left us too soon. METALFLOWERZ assisted the forementioned MF duo in crucial points of their careers.
The whole album is a journey in itself, as its sonic pallete takes many twists and turns. Despite the broad spectrum, METALFLOWERZ’ comprehensive experience, coupled with sprawling musical knowledge, ties it all together without a hitch. The LP appeared on Bandcamp’s official list of September’s best new Hip-Hop music. Digital and physical editions are also both available on Bandcamp.
