MC Rene & Figub Brazlevič – Das Ende vom Anfang (Album Stream)

With singles like “Beinah’ ein Jahr” and “Seifenoper”, MC Rene and Figub have been teasing their new collab project for a while now, giving us hints of Krekpek‘s another add-on to their rich music discography. Now the album is finally out, and it’s all I could expect of it.

“Das Ende vom Anfang” a.k.a. ‘the end of the beginning’ is a pure hip-hop experience, going from jazzy tracks like “Ich bin echt”, hard hitters like the ones already mentioned, to the phenomenal track “Let The Algorithm Hit ‘Em” as an ode to the old school vibe of Eric B. & Rakim. The tempo variety here is wide, going through many aspects of rap with a focus on hip-hop with a 90s taste, and Rene goes hand in hand with every provided beat like a pro.
