Listen to MF Doom’s “Solid Steel” Mix
Solid Steel (9th December) King Geedorah aka MF DOOM is perhaps the most legendary and revered living figure in underground hip hop today. A generation have grown up in awe of the masked producer and MC – he’s influenced and worked with J Dilla, Flying Lotus, Earl Sweatshirt, Madlib, Clams Casino, Danger Mouse, RZA, Ghostface Killah, De La Soul and more. To celebrate the re-release of the conceptual classic “Take Me To Your Leader”, originally released in 2003 via Big Dada (Ninja Tune), King Geedorah has delivered a rare “Snake Charmer” mix (premiered via Pitchfork) for Solid Steel. The mix features 3 exclusive unreleased tracks from an upcoming project curated by MF DOOM and a new King Geedorah remix of ‘Banished’ by JJ DOOM.
