Kazi & Madlib – BLACKMARKET EP (1996)

Kazi unearthed an EP he did with Madlib back in 1996 called BLACKMARKET. This EP was recorded at Madlib’s bedroom studio, Crate Diggas Palace in Oxnard CA on reel-to-reel tape.

Kazi’s first appearance on record was on Lootpack’s Soundpieces: Da Antidote in 1999. The following year Kazi released the Madlib-produced EP Down For The Kaz and appeared on Madlib’s Madlib Invazion EP, both on Stones Throw.
