ILL Conscious & Finn feat. Snook Da Crook – “Consortium”

After the mellow, reminiscing piece “Pupils Become Rivals” from two weeks ago, ILL Conscious returns with the second single “Consortium” that features a more grimy approach, both lyrically and instrumentally. Coming off the upcoming album “The Premise,” the track, same as the one before, is produced by Finn, but this time the Baltimore-born MC gets lyrical support from Snook Da Crook, who adds a fine amount of rawness to the satirical angle of the track that aims at the difference between real artists and those that are fakin’ the funk.
