Ice T on Blackout Rap Show (May 13, 1997)

“Another rare Blackout Rap Show from my archives. This one hails from May 13th, 1997 when Ice T came back to Zagreb, Croatia to play with his hard core band, Body Count. We got a call that Ice was coming to Radio 101 to do an interview for a heavy metal show ‘High Voltage’ and I was invited to translate and help with the conversation. They told us Ice was only going to be there 15 minutes, he ended up staying much longer, he did drops for the radio station and I took him out that night to Aquarius. Next day I met him at the soundcheck & gave him a Radio 101 T-shirt that he wore backstage while doing interviews. After the show we went back to his hotel and he handed me an unreleased Rhyme Syndicate compilation (1997) that I played a lot on this Ice T radio show. This tape is Blackout Rap Show that broadcasted a day after Body Count’s gig & i replayed the Ice T interview we did for High Voltage just 2 days before. Big up Ice-T!”
