Grand Agent & Culture Freedom drop a new EP
In March 2011, Philadelphia artist Grand Agent released a new song every day for the entire month of March on Facebook. There was no system behind it. It was discipline. Now, he returns with “A Calm Killing,” a six-track EP produced entirely by Culture Freedom of Poor Righteous Teachers. The project isn’t a throwback. It’s the result of a fifteen-year arc rooted in craft, restraint, and lineage. The title track names how harm becomes routine and profitable without spectacle, while the production stays menacing but playable, built for real environments like the car and the gym.
