Eminem’s Definition of Stan Enters Oxford English Dictionary
Going back to the year 2002 when Eminem dropped one of the biggest hits of his career – the song Stan, a short story about an overly obsessed fan. 17 years later the word has been included in Oxford English Dictionary as a definition, noun and as a verb.

Definition: An overzealous or obsessive fan of a particular celebrity.
Noun: He has millions of stans who are obsessed with him and call him a rap god.
Verb: y’all know I stan for Katy Perry, so I was excited to see the artwork for her upcoming album.
