Drake Shares “Views From The 6” Artwork
It’s April, so that means that the highly-anticipated fourth studio album from Drake, Views From The 6 will soon touch down. As such, I’ve had a couple of tinfoil hat theories regarding the release as well.
The logically easy theorem is that he would reveal the album on April 16th, or 4.16, which alongside 647 and 437 is also an area code for Drake’s hometown of Toronto. It would make sense because there is no such thing as a “June 47th” or “April 37th.” However, that would be too easy a guess, and in a music world where everybody now follows Beyoncé’s shoes and drops albums without release dates that one is too predictable.
My other guess would be that he would reveal the album during an episode of OVO Sound Radio on Beats 1, similar to when it debuted his and Future’s What A Time To Be Alive back on September 20th, 2015. And with the recent release of the first two singles from Views, “Pop Style” and “One Dance,” it wouldn’t’ be far-fetched to assume that the project may arrive as early as Saturday, April 9th, the next scheduled date for OVO Sound Radio.
Regardless, Drake has apparently revealed the cover art to the upcoming album — once again — in an unexpected manner. In London’s central area of Covent Garden, this projection appeared on the side of the Royal Opera House:

FADER has confirmed, via Island Records, that this is in fact the cover art for Views From The 6. So… it’s essentially the artwork he previously revealed on “Summer Sixteen.”
