DJ Premier & Ransom – The Reinvention
New York heavyweight DJ Premier and Jersey City’s Ransom deliver a brand new joint album, “The Reinvention.” We got six new tracks in total, with one additional skit making up the tracklist. There are no guest appearances on “The Reinvention”, which is no problem since Preemo’s timeless beats and Ransom’s top-notch lyricism are a certain winning recipe.
This is Ransom’s third project of the year, coming after “Cabrini Green” in January and “The Final Call” with Dave East in February. DJ Premier now has two 2025 albums under his belt, since he brought out “The Coldest Profession” with Roc Marciano in August. He is also due to release a joint album with Nas in December.
DJ Premier will rock in Zagreb’s Boogaloo Club alongside The Alchemist on December 11th. The show comes as a part of their “He’s The Preemo, I’m The Chemist” tour, and will also commemorate Blackout Hip Hop’s 32nd birthday. You can get your tickets HERE.
