Dig Of The Day: Quo – Once Again (1994)

Today we have a shorty duo from the era of Da Youngsta’s, Kris Kross, Chi-Ali, Illegal, Shyheim, Ba Ba Kidz… I think that these days there’s a slim chance of shorties that can drop like this, highly unlikely. We’ll see how will it all sound with Dres‘, Will Smith‘s son and other less familiar youngsters who might rap that I can’t recall right now.

But that’s different – different backgrounds are those of Dres and Will since they wasn’t born in a “celebrity” family so that might, not neccesarily, but just might be something that’ll take the eventual dopeness of natural talent when talkin’ about today’s youngsters in rap. Plus it’s very important the enviroment they grow up in, with very important musical background. If you listen to shi**y music there’s a great chance your kid will to. I would very much like to hear a group like Da Youngsta’s these days, that sh*t would be awesome. It’s a different era today but hey, it’s possible.

Once Again track if off Quo‘s debut and only album of the same name, released in ’94 on MJJ Music.
