Had to dig deep for this one. Finally a fresh joint from a female emcee since there’s not too many of those. Recognizable Booker T. & the M.G.’s sample embedded within the joint you’re listenin’ to – fully titled Homie, You Ain’t Got An Ounce Of Mac In You, by a lovely young sister from Texas by the name of Candace Vernell Fresh aka Candy Fresh.
Homie, You Ain’t Got got a single release on cassette and CD and appears on her debut and, you guessed it, only album titled Just The Way I Like It, out on WRAP Records in ’92.
