Diamond D in Zagreb: Throwback Videos From 2009 & 2016
September 17th, 2025, will mark Diamond D’s third visit to Croatia’s capital. In Zagreb’s Jiggy Music Bar, joined by Blackout’s Phat Phillie and the host of Croatia’s first Hip-Hop radio show, Slavin Balen, he will throw down a set consisting strictly of 45 rpm singles. As the date grows closer, this makes the perfect opportunity to revisit his previous times in Zagreb.
In 2009, he performed alongside Sadat X of Brand Nubian at the Blackout Classics event in the Aquarius Club. He also visited the famed Morris Studio to record a track for Koolade’s debut album. His second visit came in 2016, where he participated in a DJ Battle with Large Professor at The Garden Brewery. The show commemorated Blackout Hip-Hop’s 23rd anniversary.
