De La Soul Release ‘Action!’ For Angry Birds Video Game

De La Soul will release their new album on August 26, which features Damon Albarn, Snoop Dogg, David Byrne, and more. Ahead of that, they have written a new song that is dedicated to Angry Birds. The song is named “Action” and it appears in the new update for Angry Birds Action. The interesting part of the update is that De La Soul will appear in the game as birds for one week, and confer special powers upon the player. It’s the first time they have made music for a video game. “We are fans of the game, so we were very happy to be involved,” the group’s Pos said in a press release.
