Clipse & John Legend – The Birds Don’t Sing (St. Peter’s Square for Vatican’s 2025 Jubilee Year)

On September 13, 2025, during the Grace for the World concert held in St. Peter’s Square, Clipse (Pusha T and No Malice) marked a milestone: they became the first rap act ever to perform at the Vatican. They performed “The Birds Don’t Sing”, a track from their album Let God Sort Em Out, alongside John Legend and backed by orchestral and choral arrangements including the Voices of Fire Choir. Their appearance was part of the Vatican’s Grace for the World event, which was co-directed by Pharrell Williams (who has long been a collaborator) and Andrea Bocelli. The concert was part of the World Meeting on Human Fraternity and also connected to the Jubilee Year celebrations.
