Breeze (L.A. Posse) 30th Anniversary Interview
I was always a HUGE fan of Breeze from his “The Young Son Of No One” album and his great guest features with King Tee, etc…Thanks to Darryl Pierce Sr., I was able to interview Breeze and his main producer Muffla about the 30 Year Anniversary of the album, as well as his full career, including what he is doing now.
The story is fascinating!! And, there are so many layers to it. This is the most detailed and historical account you can find about Breeze, and I’ll be promoting this for the next few weeks because I want people to see this. It’s lengthy, but hugely entertaining and insightful. PLEASE READ AND SHARE!!!!
For some tid-bits, in this story you’ll learn about his time signed to Def Jam (’85-’88) and recording countless demos that never got released, his battle(s) and friendly-rivalry with LL Cool J, working with Bobcat and DJ Pooh as his DJs, his friendship with King Tee, a breakdown of every song on the T.Y.S.O.N album, the influence his unreleased music had on other Def Jam/Rush Management artists, and a whole lot more!!!!
