The past year was a standout year for Hip-Hop and for Blackout Hip-Hop.

We celebrated 30 years of Blackout alongside the 50th anniversary of Hip Hop, marking it with unforgettable nights, stunning guest appearances, a website redesign, and a limited edition collaboration with Revolt Clothing. Both milestones were fittingly celebrated.

Bahamadia graced us with her first performance in Croatia at the Čakovec Burger Fest on May 6, accompanied by DJ Eclipse. This event attracted fans from across the region.

DJ Nu-Mark of Jurassic 5 brought his skills back to Zagreb on May 19, sharing his love for local wines and amazing music selection.

The Wu-Tang Clan & Blackout30 Showcase at Exit Festival on July 9 celebrated multiple anniversaries, including 30 years of Wu-Tang’s iconic album, with performances that made Hip Hop history.

Preach The Rič Festival in Šibenik, on August 18 and 19, was a new and welcomed addition, featuring a lineup led by regional artists and aimed at strengthening the local scene.

Talib Kweli performed at Vintage Industrial Bar on September 6, bringing his influential music to Zagreb.

50 Cent and Busta Rhymes electrified Zagreb Arena on October 18, with a performance that included major hits and was part of 50 Cent’s The Final Lap world tour.

Skratch Bastid joined Phat Phillie for the first Blackout Classics event on October 21, celebrating Phillie’s 48th birthday with an unforgettable set.

Souls of Mischief & Non Phixion performed at Club Aquarius on October 28, perfectly celebrating 30 years of Blackout and 50 years of Hip-Hop with their classic sounds.

Jeru The Damaja teamed up with Phat Phillie for the “American Spaces Tour” from November 27 to December 2, bringing an educational yet concert-like experience to five Croatian cities.

The Blackout Hip-Hop x Revolt Clothing Anniversary Collection released limited edition apparel to commemorate Blackout’s 30th anniversary, available via email and at the Royal With Cheese store in Sarajevo.
