Anteek Recipes – Pockets

Formed in the Myspace era, the rap duo Anteek Recipes (Dirty Hairy / Zagreb and Shuteyes / New York) began crafting the sort of hip hop they love and want to hear. To date they’ve released two 7 inch vinyl singles and a B – sides EP. They continue to work on material and are currently preparing for some more vinyl releases in 2020.

Pockets was originally recorded in 2006. It comes from a period where Hairy was using only hardware for production and hadn’t really got into usings DAW’s. At the time both guys severely struggling financially to eat and pay bills but with an optimism about things getting better, finding positives and being real in the dark times…
