Historic event in UK which included artists like Afrika Bambaataa, Aleem, DJ Cheese & Word Of Mouth, Steady B & Grand Dragon KD, Captain Rock, Dr Jeckyll & Mr Hyde, Lovebug Starski, Just Ice & Mantronix, World Class Wrecking Crew, Sir Mix-A-Lot, Masquerade, Roxanne Shante, The Real Roxanne & Howie Tee, Mantronix & MC Tee, Grandmaster Flash & Hashim. And here is the 3 hour audio of that event which was broadcasted live on Capital Rap Show by Mike Allen.

was only eleven years old when this event happened and fifty miles away from london – but was locked in when mike allen broadcast the highlights on his capital radio show – still got the tapes – classic!

I’d like to put a big shout out for the crew’s that represented on the day:Nottingham Rock City Crew , The London All-Stars, Manchester Street Machine, Wolverhampton B-Boys and of course Ultimate Force,Lancaster.. The UK’s top five at the time!
I was there. Still got the ticket. I remember the chairs being super wobbly when we stood up in them.
I will not forget UK Fresh 1986. The concert for a whole generation…..
